Questions Parents Ask
How does the free trial work?
Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial with up to 10 stories, once per Apple account. You add a payment method when the trial starts, and the plan begins at its price when the 7 days end, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. The 3 free stories are separate and need no card at all.
What is the difference between Basic and Active?
Only the number of stories: Basic gives 30 a month and Active 50. Both include photo, voice or text, narration and music, profiles for each child, and stories saved forever.
How does yearly billing work?
A yearly plan gives the whole year's stories at once, 360 on Basic and 600 on Active, to use at any pace until the plan renews. It costs €74.99 or €99.99 a year, 43% and 48% less than twelve monthly payments. On a monthly plan, unused stories do not carry over to the next month.
What counts as a story?
Each new story counts as one, and so does each new chapter of a series. Reading and listening never count, the 16 LuniMuni Stories are free, and a story that fails to finish does not count.
Do all my children share one plan?
Yes. A plan belongs to the parent's account, and every child's profile makes stories from the same allowance. Each child still has their own bookshelf.
What happens when we run out of stories?
Your child can keep reading and listening to every story on the bookshelf. New stories wait until your plan renews, or until a parent starts a plan or moves up to Active, which takes effect at once.
How do I cancel?
Cancel a LuniMuni plan in your App Store subscription settings; the parent area opens them for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to my stories if I cancel?
Your family's stories stay yours forever, even if you cancel your subscription. They stay in your library, ready to read and listen to.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Moving up from Basic to Active takes effect at once, and moving down at the next renewal, following Apple's rules. The new plan's stories start when the switch takes effect, and stories left from the old plan do not carry over.
Why is the price different in my country?
Our prices are set in euros and include VAT. In other countries the App Store charges in the local currency, so the price can differ, and it always shows you the price before you buy.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every LuniMuni payment, so refunds go through Apple: you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. In the EU and the EEA you normally also have 14 days to withdraw from a new purchase, again through Apple.
