Welcome to LuniMuni. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LuniMuni mobile application and related services. By using LuniMuni, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LuniMuni, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using LuniMuni on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child.

2. Description of Service

LuniMuni is an AI-powered storytelling application designed for children ages 3-8. The service allows parents and children to:

  • Upload photos, drawings, or describe ideas
  • Generate personalized stories using artificial intelligence
  • Listen to AI-narrated stories with background music
  • Save and revisit favorite stories

3. Account Registration

To use LuniMuni, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Ensuring that account information remains current and accurate

4. Parental Responsibility

LuniMuni is intended for use by children under parental supervision. As a parent or guardian, you agree to:

  • Supervise your child's use of the app
  • Review content generated for appropriateness
  • Use the parental controls and PIN protection features
  • Take responsibility for all content uploaded through your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LuniMuni to:

  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to circumvent content filters or safety measures
  • Share account access with unauthorized users
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the application
  • Use automated systems to access the service

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and drawings you upload. By uploading content, you grant LuniMuni a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of generating stories. As stated in our Privacy Policy, uploaded images are not stored after story generation.

Generated Content

Stories generated by LuniMuni are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may save, share with family members, and enjoy these stories, but you may not:

  • Sell or commercially distribute generated stories
  • Claim AI-generated content as solely your own original work
  • Use generated content in ways that violate these Terms

LuniMuni Property

The LuniMuni app, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by LuniMuni and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Free Trial: New users receive 3 free stories to try the service
  • Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed according to the selected plan (monthly or annually)
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings or app store
  • Refunds: Refund policies are subject to app store guidelines

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

LuniMuni uses artificial intelligence to generate stories. While we implement content filters and safety measures:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally be unexpected or imperfect
  • We do not guarantee that all generated content will meet your expectations
  • Parents should review stories for appropriateness
  • We continuously improve our safety systems based on feedback

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • Limit access in cases of abuse or technical issues

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuniMuni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LuniMuni harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Latvia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
